Mental illness or severe psychological distress presents a struggle for the
person who is trying to maintain an active and productive life in the
community. It also often produces fears, worries and complexities for his or
her family.
Anxiety, depression, panic, suicidal ideation, schizophrenia, bipolar
disorder, etc., are some of the many conditions that the Adult Outpatient
Unit treats. We provide services in many languages and have a strong
cultural sensitivity for individuals between 18 and 55 years old.
Our highly trained staff provides expertise in the areas of psychiatric,
psychosocial, and psychological evaluation. We offer medication monitoring,
individual, group, couples and family psychotherapy.
Each patient is carefully evaluated and an individualized treatment plan is
offered. It is our mission to provide this service in a compassionate
environment aimed at restoring the highest level of functioning possible in
the shortest time possible. Our goal is for individuals to become
self-reliant and to utilize community based support upon the completion of
treatment.
