Through the years, Trinitas Regional Medical Center has demonstrated its commitment to women and children with a spacious 20-bed "Mother/Baby" postpartum unit, modern Labor/Delivery/Recovery (LDR) rooms, a Level II Intermediate Care Nursery and full midwifery program for mothers who prefer this option. In addition, we offer a comprehensive array of dedicated Women's Services.

Trinitas Installs Fetal Surveillance System
A new GE Fetal Surveillance system at Trinitas Regional Medical Center is allowing physicians and nurses to view fetal heart rates and the mother's contraction status from almost any location within the Labor & Delivery unit, providing improved patient safety. Through a system known as OB Link, physicians can also view this critical real-time information from their offices and from other locations within Trinitas such as the Women's Health Center, postpartum lounge and staff lounge. Staff members have been extensively trained on the new equipment, which also provides archiving of all data.
