Childbirth Education Classes
Childbirth Education Class offers information and practice for the entire experience of pregnancy, birthing, and beginning a family. Classes are held every Monday from 7pm-9:30pm for 6 weeks. Located in the Fitness Center of the Medical Office Building. The fee is $125.00 payable in installments. Parking is free. A snack is provided.

Diabetes Management Center
The Diabetes Management Center is here to help you learn to control your diabetes. The goal of the Diabetes Management Center is to help people develop skills to live successfully with diabetes.

The Diabetes Management Center of Trinitas Regional Medical Center is nationally recognized by the American Diabetes Association for its education program. Our professional staff is comprised of Registered Nurses and Registered Dietitians, who are also Certified Diabetes Educators and Certified Insulin Pump Trainers.

Nutritional Counseling
Individualized Nutritional Counseling/Diet Education is available for outpatients for the treatment and prevention of nutrition related problems. The nutrition counseling session is held in private with a Registered Dietician. A physician prescription is required for most services. To schedule a nutrition counseling appointment, call Food and Nutrition Services at 908-994-5248.

Patient Surveys
Trinitas Regional Medical Center is committed to continuously improving our patients' satisfaction with the services and the quality of care we provide. Patient surveys are a key tool we use to assist us in measuring how well we are accomplishing these goals. After you return home from the hospital, you may receive a questionnaire that asks about your experience here at Trinitas Regional Medical Center. Please take a few moments to complete the form and return it to us so we may learn how we can continue to improve the way we care for all our patients. Thank you for your assistance.

Spiritual & Cultural Needs
Trinitas Regional Medical Center recognizes the diverse spiritual and cultural needs of its patients, visitors, and employees. The chaplains at Trinitas Regional Medical Center work to meet these needs within in a framework of respect for the views of all religions, denominations, personal philosophies, and cultural traditions. Whatever the chaplains' denomination may be, their desire is to honor the beliefs and traditions that have meaning to you and to help you draw upon your own spirituality.

We welcome the involvement of your personal clergy. Should you wish to arrange a visit while you are here, please call the Pastoral Care Department at extension 5011 or speak with your nurse. Your clergy may visit you at any time.

Hospital chaplains visit patients daily. Should you wish to visit with a hospital chaplain, please call extension 5019.

During evening and night hours, a hospital chaplain is on call and may be requested by speaking with your nurse.

The Chapel, located on the first floor of the hospital, is open daily from 5:30 am to 7 pm for private prayer and meditation.

Catholic Liturgies are celebrated in the Chapel at 6:30am and noon, Monday through Friday; at 3:30pm on Saturday and 7:30am and 11:15am on Sunday. These may be viewed on Channel 39 of your television.

Communion is distributed daily by members of the Pastoral Care Team or a Eucharistic Minister from the local parishes.

Any patient who would like to receive the Sacrament of the Sick and/or Reconciliation may inform their chaplain or call extension 5119.
